Date: 23/01/2019
Hours: 9am-10:30am, 11am-12pm (2 hours 30 minutes)
What I Did: Today I focused on finishing the side view of Todd, I aimed to use what I learnt from the videos I watched yesterday. So I would start by creating the angle of the character, thus resulting in my not having me do a lot of work only to realise the legs aren't the same length and having to move a lot around. Doing this method is a lot better and the reason why I say this is because I was able to get a visual look at how everything would be shaped without having to add colours and spending a lot of time blocking it out only to realise I did something wrong.
I also did an additional thumbnail for the storyboard. After some feedback I will sketch out these thumbnails, the reason why is similar to the side view for Todd; it will be easier and take less time to sketch it out and if anything needs to change then it won't take long to make those changes.
Tomorrow I will focus on creating a T-pose for both Charlie and Todd, why? Another piece of reference for the character modeller. To help me with this I will research into how the shoulders and arms look when in that certain position, it will also give me an opportunity to create half of the character and then mirror the other side by copying it and flipping it.
